I just got home from Alabang, and I’m just loving the weather. HAHA. my mom asked me to go with her to Asian Hospital to run a few errands. I was a bit hesitant at first, but I said what the hell. so we got there, talked to a few people, then headed home after a quick stop at Mcdo. my sausage mcmuffiin with egg and large fries was just freakin’ awsome. HAHA. I love my Mcdo-fix.
anywhooo. recap of yesterday’s events. but first..
BELATED HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO
TWO OF THE MOST WONDERFULEST PERSON EVER.
LISETTE! KAT! LOVE YOU GUYS TO DEATH.
16 NA TAYO. SHIT.**
so yesterday was the Opening of Intramurals which meant the actual performance. (in case you didn’t know, I was ‘assigned’ to represent our section in the inter-batch ‘competition’. and by assigned and competition, i mean walang gustong sumayaw, kaya ako nalang.) Earl, you so owe me. HAHA. seriously.
thank God the Chemistry LT didn’t push through. I would’ve failed miserably if it did.
as a bajillion of teachers keep mentioning, the Opening would be the first chance batches would face-off. not to add pressure, but the Juniors are known to never lose the Opening. we didn’t win, but the point is the batch got so much better. our voice wasn’t nearly that loud as compared to last year.
MALAKAS AT MAINGAY TIBOK NG PUSO. DUB-DUB-DUB-DUB-DUB JUNIORS!
and the dancers did great. considering that we finished the whole thing the previous day. too bad we messed up the entrance. but whatever. i think we rocked it. HAHA.
after that, we pretty much did nothing. we just sat around watching random games. it boring as hell. the good thing was there was party waiting for us at GB. HAHA.
so a couple of us rode in Allan’s car. we got there and started to look for presents. then we headed to Krocodile Grille! the food was to die for. HAHA. the food was Filipino-themed which meant fooood till’ you can’t take it no more. HAHA. as the night progressed, people started to get parched thus the drinks? it Vodka Cruiser after the other. I got my first taste (and yes, this liver’s a virgin) and I don’t understand why people are so obsessed about it. Lisette? HAHAHA.
in true 3C fashion, we chilled at favorite hangout, Cold Rock. actually, only Jo bought something. I was surprised that they didn’yt kick us out. and fact that we were beyond loud, they should’ve. we went to Timezone to play a couple of games. this guy kicked by *ss in Tekken 6. sad. HAHA. people started leaving, and I left a couple of minutes after.
. . . . . .
it just goes to show how much I love these guys. I’m going to see them in a couple of minutes.
sabayan practice. mygoodness. HAHA.
PS. KIRSTEN. I missed you.
seriously.
sheeeet. i’m seriously considering transferring my blog some place else. all i do is stress about how crappy i.ph is. they should really consider fixing their system or something. i have trouble posting some my entries, the layouts are all out crappy, and well, the features are simply mediocre compared to other sites.
i’m still waiting for the upgrades, and if i find myself dissatisfied. . .
i’m leaving.
seriously.
it’s a shame that there are no classes today. i would have wanted to see friends, but due to the supposed harsh weather condition, i get to spend the whole day, cramped in the house, all alone, doing nothing but watch some insanely boring television.
i know i haven’t been blogging lately, and that’s due to the fact that school has been ridiculously hectic. it’s not even funny anymore. school has been all about presentations, and practices. teachers are vicious, and i’m not really sure if they know how to mange time properly. the workload is just insane.
and the fact that students don’t really get to have a say in the matter is a bit disturbing.
all that i can look forward to now is time with friends; usually during practices and dismissal. these are the only times i can usually laugh and relax.
haaay. yet another blog wasted on rants. rants which usually gets me nowhere, but wasted time.
i should really consider stopping. Haha.
seriously.
I just finished reading the book, and I actually find it very thought provoking. Which is shocking on my part, considering that the title is The 500 People You Meet in Hell. You might percieve it as this humorous perspective into the world’s evils, which it is, but I think it’s a lot deeper than that. The intention, anyway.
I loved the way the author meshed wit, humour and a sense of morality together with as much grace as humanly possible.
It talkes of certain people, who commit to certain acts, and does certain things, and the impression, the mark, the effect they leave in your life. The book talkes about the people like: The teacher who ruined math/literature for you, or The teacher who said that you wouldn’t amount to anything. It presents people who you often encounter in your life.
You wouldn’t think that the things they say and do could greatly affect and change the very outcome or totality of your being. In the very depths of your subconscious, there’s just this tweak that would instantaneously go off, and remind you of all the terrible things these people have done to you.
See, it is thought provoking and funny. Hahaha.
(After everytime the book talkes about the person, they go on about this crazy punishment they’ll ahve to go through in Hell. Basically, it’s all the horrible things they did while they were still alive, now turned on them. Of course, you have to add all the exaggerations and the little demons residing in Hell.)
so yeah, it’s a good read.
Horray for Michael. Haha.
uy, napapa-english. Haha.
It’s the stress. It’s stupid. It’s ridiculous.
It’s wrong in every way you look at it.
seriously.
