my mcdonald’s crave has hit an all time high. people kept mentioning it during dismissal, and now it’s gotten worse. HAHA. where the hell is mc chicken meal when you need one. Go! Big Time of course. HAHA.
- - I don’t wanna wake before the dream is over. Make It Mine (We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things.)
Jason Mraz’s new album is da bomb. HAHA. the songs are just right for the incoming rush of emotions, i think i’m about to feel. maybe in a couple of minutes? it would definitely help me cope. to some extent, anyway. even just a little bit. considering the situation(s), i’m gonna need all the help i can get. HAHA.
this morning was the first FC for the school year. i was a bit surprised to see that a lot of people responded to the council’s plea for an early assembly. probably it was best since the incident last week. everybody was freakishly quiet, for some reason. after a few announcements, we headed upstairs.
i never thought i would say this, but english has sort of become my favorite subject. Ms. Regato is an amazing teacher. she’s playful, yet firm about her lessons. and the way she teaches us with such enthusiasm is such a blessing, and her extensive knowledge of everything doesn’t hurt either. she surprised a couple of us again with a cite from GA. a super lovey-dovey, but extremely effective scene from the season 4 finale, Freedom. Gaaaahh.
am i right, or am i right? HAHA.
i’m a baby when it comes to such things. dammit. HAHA.
we didn’t have science because of the personality test. words can’t describe the pain i had to endure to keep myself from laughing my *ss off. i know it’s mean beyond all reason, and she seems nice. too bad, she can’t she doesn’t know how to speak proper english. for the word “sheet”, anyway. HAHA.
LAUGHTRIP recess. HAHA.
social was a great period. another chance to feature our tableau-ing prowess. HAHA. Sr. Arawag’ just can’t help exposing our creativity and god-like talents. HAHAHA. i wish?! HAHA.
CLE was ok. i guess? nothing much really happened. a bit boring, actually.
i didn’t get to eat because i had sh*tty Chorale practice. eeeeww.
fun, fun, fun during HE. after a short discussion from ms., we got to watch ”The Talking Bee”. HAHA. hilarious skit from Jr’s group. the commercials were soo bangag. HAHAHA.
another surprise was my sudden fascinantion with today’s GEOM lesson. i’m kinda getting the hang of it. it just needs to slow down just a bit. my mathematically-challenged mind can’t cope with all the fast discussions. we had this Club Orientation thing in the theatre. it was jampacked with the three year levels, so 3C had to settle for monobloc chairs. Mikh and i just kept laughing at the video presentations. as if naman matututo ka talaga ng ganyan sa club na yan. asa pa. HAHAHA.
bonding time at the 3C classroom. the feeling of downtrodden-ness (HAHA?) was obviously present, so the friendship thing should be kickin’ in gear, and working over-time. we resumed all the halabaloo to the cafetorium, then to front of the HS building. then went home.
. . . . . .
it’s a sad reality that people can get too caught up with work, school, their whatevers; getting all their priorities mixed up. people can get busy. people can get so-so. people can get awkward, and forget about the things that really matter. it’s human nature; there’s no escaping it, but once in awhile, we should just breath, take things slowly, think things through, and eventually, everything will work itself out.
trust God. trust friends. trust me.
seriously . . .
when they said that Junior year would be tough, they werern’t kidding. HAHA
i would assume that the first few days of school would be concentrated on orientations and getting-to-know-you stuff, and they were, but along with all those orientations were a bunch of homework. more specifically were the fancy recitation cards. HAHA.
i’m starting to feel a little bit anxious about this whole thing. the whole thing meaning the entirety of my junior year. i know it’s still a bit early to predict anything, but the idea of geometry, chemistry, cheering, prom all in the same year is a bit overwhelming - - even nerve-raking. and don’t get me started on the pressure most of the teacher’s are putting on us, particularly on the council.
God, help us.
. . . . . .
anywhooo. excuse the sudden emotional outburst. is it that obvious that i’m going crazy? HAHA.
~ i’m not really in the mood for some detailed blogging, so, yah.
~ math was bearable, enough. i’d hate to imagine the thing we’ll be taking up in a couple of days.
~ social was a bit confusing. lecheng routine yan. HAHA.
~ double science was fun, fun, fun. putting together that Philippine island puzzle thing was entertaining. HAHA. me, Jo, and Keziah just needed a few extra minutes. HAHA. then we were assigned to our definite groupings. i’m seriously gonna enjoy this group. hilarious presentation from Ivan. HAHAHA.
~ english was extremely dragging. i almost fell asleep, and that ENGLISH POLICY thing is killing me. HAHA.
(the rest of the day in school was wet to say the least. HAHA. and not that memorable.)
~ i asked the bus driver to drop me off at powerplant. i had to do some shopping for some people. HAHA. long white folders here. a bunch of plastic card jacket there. i even saw Mikh’s mom at National. i was too embarrassed to say hi. baka hindi niya ako makilala. HAHA. i met up with my own mom, bought a few more things, ran errands, then went home.
. . . . .
i just have one more thing to say before i hit the sack.
THAT GEOMETRY HOMEWORK SUCKS EGGS.
seriously.
it’s never a good sign, when someone bluntly disses you, during the first day.
i’m just saying.
summer is finally over (which is just music to my ears. days and days under the raging sun without anybody to talk to is just sad. i hate summer. go figure. HAHA.), and. . .
IT’S FINALLY JUNIOR YEAR. *omg.*
only a handful of people were in the classroom, when i arrived. most of them being the CO people. hi’s and hugs were exchanged, accompanied with a lot of screaming. HAHA. it was a bit strange to say the least. the minute i sat down and looked around the classroom, it’s as if we took a week long break, and came back.
the general assembly thingy was scorching hot. aside from the unbearable heat, another thing that caught my attention were a bunch of teachers that i missed during the summer. seeing Mama G and Sir. T, who by the way is a new coor. HAHA, was quite refreshing. the memories are coming back. HAHA. it was also the first time i saw the CO people in action; doing their shouting, “rifling” and whatnot. HAHA.
i’d like to believe that the introduction activity was great, but it wasn’t all that. HAHA. there were a few funny parts, but most of the time it was dragging and a bit boring.
lunch will never be the same again. our beloved gym was ruined to a bajillion pieces, so, from now on, we have to settle for cafetorium food, trying not to step on the little kiddies, HAHA, and lining up for 10 years. serious bonding time at the usual spot. bonding - - meaning poking fun at Lisette and things that i’m not really comfortable mentioning. HAHA. baka masampal pa ako.
we had to come up with 10 house rules. it kinda irritated me a bit. wala lang. HAHA. elections were the next thing lined up. woopteedoo for the new set of class officers. it’s gonna be a challenge, i’m sure of that, but we’ll make it through. hopefully. HAHA.
some part of me just wishes for much simpler times, but a much more bigger part of me says that i’m ready for the hurdles to come. hurdles which may from time to time cause me to trip, stumble, even sumemplang-semplang. but with the help from good ol’ friends, some elbow grease, and a few sacrifices along the way, i’ll surely get by. with or without the bruises.
people and things might get in the way. disappointments, conflicts, difficulties are gonna come. there’s no doubt about it. but nothing else matters; since i’m back with you guys, my very dysfunctional, very disturbed, but very much loved family of nerds.
it’s gonna be one hell of year. no question.
but i won’t have it any other way.
seriously.
no need for fancy, scientific words. this can only mean one thing.
it’s time to stock up on the meds and hit the sack.
i think i have a cold. 0_o
Gaaaahh.
seriously?
THE PAIN’S OVER. THE DAY OF RECKONING HAS PASSED.
CHEERS TO 3C 0809!
ANOTHER YEAR FILLED WITH FRIENDSHIPS, SUCCESS,
LAUGHS, AND NERD LOVE. HAHA.
CHEERS TO BOTH OLD AND NEW NERDS.
SERIOUSLY!!!
