"SORRY WON’T DO."

June 26, 2008

Sky by Joshua Radin Feat. Ingrid Michaelson

i’m seriously in love with this song.

- - This is the way I need to wake; I wake to you. And you never left me. All that I’d dreamt had been untrue. Open my eyes, I see sky. (Sky by Joshua Radin Feat. Ingrid Michaelson).

today’s been exhausting, and that’s the biggest understatement ever. HAHA.

lately, during classes, i find myself wanting to recite which is a new and good thing. besides the graded recitation part, i’m actually involved in the discussion. it’s a great way to make all my messy opinions known. it’s messy, but still know. HAHA.

english is always fun. nothing’s really changed. it’s the usual witty comments from Ms. Regato. plus the game. the underdogs always win. HAHA. 10 points, baby. another group activiy during social. we had the funniest presentation ever. Food&Nutrition-based periodization. whaaat? HAHA. filipino went by really, really fast. Rizal overload. HAHA. geom is still bearable. but the quizzes are a whole different story. the waiting part is painful. CLE was very entertaining. singing to the BEP, but still learning is just dandy for me.

hell-ish PE. this is the reason why i always sign up for SIIGE. the only fun part is the table tennis part. i hadn’t played for a while, but i still managed to win most of the games. the badminton factor is at work. HAHA.

we headed back to the classroom to chill there. after manong shoed us away, we went to the cafetorium, and took everything from there. when it was only me, Chi, and Kim, we decided to visit some tennis friends. HAHA. we had to go home after a while.

. . . . . . .

today has been exteremly trying. matters are too personal for the enjoyment of the internet, so i won’t say anything, but know that i always got your back. never gonna change - ever. cradle to grave.

the biggest seriously i can muster.

"CALL ME LOONY."

June 24, 2008

it’s only been a few weeks into the year, and i’m already stressing about things. a bunch of things clearly not worth my time and effort. i should concentrate on more pressing matters like friends, and studies? HAHA. they keep telling us that they’re gonna use our 3rd year report cards for our college resumes, so pressure much?

i just have to stop psyching myself out. breath, Bernardo. breath. HAHA.

usual 3C morning. some people were obsessing about homework. what’s new? HAHA. and their council stuff. leaving me and Keziah all to ourselves. HAHA. good thing Trixie kept me preoccupied with all her weekend stories; then Ms. Villegas literally bursted into the room asking for last minute P.A. HAHA. i was all hyped about the trip.

little did i know that we were gonna use the “outreach-buses”. Gaaah! those lame excuses for a bus, none of which having any airconditioning. props? HAHA. too think a bunch of kids from other schools are gonna see us in our busted-up coach. HAHA. cheap, cheap, cheap.

the trip going there was obviously hot, but quite enjoyable nonetheless. i particularly enjoyed listening to Lance’s rants about the Philippines. HAHA. from our very much corrupt system to  the Metro Gwapo crap. it’s like listening to a witty, political-based radio show. seriously, Lance. go for it! HAHA.

we got there with all eyes staring at this big, yellow heap of crap; us in it. lucky us. HAHA. so the Mass, along with the airconditioning, took like forever to start. the Mass was unbelievably dragging. the songs were slow like crazy. and the Homily was a little short of bearable. i tried to stay awake, but a guy could only take so long. i can’t say the same for a other people. HAHA. catching some zzz’s, guys?

after the longest Mass ever, we left the place around minutes past 11. everybody was stressing over what time we’ll be arriving school. everybody dreading over research. HAHA. since traffic was clearly not cooperating, we got to school at 11:30, clearly to our dismay. HAHA.

the good thing is we got to have early lunch. more time for bonding and laughs. HAHA. the rest of the afternoon was a big blur. i was too tired, hot, and tired to pay any attention during the afternoon classes.

COMPUTER crap!?!?! HAHA.

then me and Trixie went home pretty early. with kwentos of course. HAHA.

thanks for the pick-me-up, best. HAHA.

no realizations for today. i’ll save it for another day.

i’m just happy that i’m making a little progress with GEOM.

snaps for me. HAHAHA.

seriously.

"YOU WANT THINGAMABOBS?"

June 22, 2008

I LOVE THE TONY’S!

it’s all about both comedy and drama, live music, theatrics, reviving classic musicals, and standing ovation-worthy performances.  they always seem to showcase plays and performers that i’m fairly familiar with. the Little Mermaid. Grease! (2B nostalgia. HAHA.) RENT. and it introduced me to a whole new genre of music thus my love for Spring Awakening and Wicked. and wherever there’s a Whoppi Goldberg Marry Poppins is gold for me. HAHA.

- - So if you care to find me, look to the western skies. As someone told me lately, everyone deserves the chance to fly. (Defying Gravity, Wicked).

i woke up to a very chilly, windy, and wet day. HAHA. i forgot to close the windows last night, so i pretty much woke up drenched in rain water. not so good. HAHA. i didn’t notice right away that there wasn’t any electricity since it was cold. i just noticed when i asked the maid..

Te, wala bang kuryente?”

” Wala, eh.”

” Ahh, ok.” (then, i went straight back to sleep. HAHA.)

after a few more minutes, i decided to get up, and get ready for Mass. it was particularly hard since there wasn’t any light, not even the sun. we headed to Mass at St. Andrew’s which was basically deserted. HAHA. 11:00AM was usually the time when the church would be crowded, but almost nobody was there. HAHA. at then end of the Mass, i got to see Lance and his family.

“Hi! Lance and family. HAHA.”

we went straight to Rockwell after that. good thing i decided to wear my jacket today. it was freezing. we bought a few things from National, then looked around for a school bag. HAHA. before we went home, i decided to treat myself pasta from Oliver’s and chicken empanada from Starbs. Yey! HAHA.

i got a little bit worried when i got home. seeing that there still wasn’t any electricity. how the hell am i gonna study?! (nerd much? HAHA.) good thing it came back on just when i was about to start studying. i can’t understand why i’m still not done with school stuff. oh yeah, i remember, because homework is evil. and by evil, i mean every villain is lemons. HAHA.

you know something’s gone really wrong when you start quoting a yellow sponge.

seriously! i can’t believe the work load they gave us. GAAAAHH.

damn homework and all that comes with it.

. . . . . . .

but just when you think that all hope is lost..

THERE’S NO CLASSES TOMORROW!

i just love the irony. don’t you? HAHA.

seriously.

"CRADLE TO GRAVE"

June 20, 2008

it’s magic still works one me. i can feel the tear glands running. HAHA.

for once, waking up unbelievably early pays off. me, Mikh, Roman, and Trixie were one of the first ones to line up for the lockers. having the top shelves means no more pain-filled walks to the HS building, and hooray for the end of all things scoliosis. HAHA.

Chorale practice before the Mass. we tried to fit as much songs and vocalizations as we can before the call-time. so after a few rounds, we headed to the covered courts.

one thing that i have to say about the Mass is that it was exhausting. singing songs non-stop for about 15 minutes straight was hell. none of us wanted to speak after the Mass. right, Chi? HAHA. i think the Chorale’s been looking up this couple of practices. everybody seems to be all hyped and ecstatic, everytime we sing. i think it’s gonna be a fun  and busy year. horraay? HAHA.

since the Mass took up most of Science’s period, Ms. Siyang tried to fit everything she can in around 20 minutes. HAHA. she discussed a few more things for the quiz on monday, and told us about the ejournal thing. i think it’s a pretty cool thing to be considered as a homework. seeing that we’ll be in front of the PC most of the time, during the weekend, it’s not a pretty bad idea. HAHA.

funny, fun Filipino time. once again, Mrs. Camartin never fails to impress with all her witty side comments and seriously hilarious jokes. the quiz went pretty well. it was the first test for the year. we have every right to be a bit nervous. most people got relatively high scores. can’t wait for another round of Mrs. Camartin. Kim and i couldn’t help ourselves. HAHA. thumbtack?! wtf? HAHA.

shitty Grand Recognition on my part, and a bunch on other nerds. it’s not like we’re already in soo much pain, let’s add to that, Ms. E. HAHA. according to you, ang mga talunan, kinapos, at sadyang walang angking talino ay hindi karapatdapat pagaksayahan ng mga upuan at aircon. duon nalang kami sa loge mo. HAHA. it’s sad enough that we don’t get freakin’ awards. to announce to an assembly that pilot class members who don’t have any awards should piss-off to the loge is just mean. HAHAHA. besides the heat, we quite enjoyed staying at the loge. we got the place all to ourselves. HAHA.

PROPS TO ALL THE AWARDEES! one day. just you wait. HAHA.

nagkabisa rin ang pagsali sa Mondialogo. HAHA.

same old, same old Computer class. never have i heard of a site called PRENDSTER, and thought that a CEEIRKEL was a shape. seriously?! HAHA. Music class was weird to say the least. one minute, people are shouting and trying to be scary. the next minute, you’re singing an extremely confusing round song. i see the resemblance from much of our Chorale practices. HAHA.

after classes ended, i finally got to audition. should i say special priveleges? HAHA. the 3C people had our moments in the classroom. after manong shooed us away, we went to the usual dismissal spot at the cafetorium. then everything progressed from there. i got to release some of the stress i was feeling.

thanks, Crissy.

and it certainly shed some light on the doubts i’ve been having these couple of days. and here’s what i come up with..

friends expect so much from you. channeling all their emotions in your direction.

hoping that you’ll want to share their burden with them. even if it’s the hardest and most painful thing to do in the world.

even if it leaves your insides in knots. even if it hurts.

you’ll try anyway since it’s your friend.  you have to love and stand up for your friends no matter what.

it’s what friends do.

it’s what friends live for.

 ”cradle to grave. “

seriously.

TALK IT OUT

Lance:

uh.. update?:))

ten:

hi jones!!!

Josefina.:

the lyrics make for a beautiful poem. how i wish my pc’s sound device would work already!

Sette:

waaa. love that song. :p

ten:

like kei, i’m a fan of both. but i can’t deny that HP is more well-written than the twilight series. :P but then again both of them got me hooked.

Josefina.:

it’s all a matter of opinion, really. some like HP, some prefer Twilight, the rest may like some other book or series. the comparisons are all quite subjective. that’s how it is, i suppose. doesn’t change anything. :P

Kei:

haha. i’m a fan of both series, so there’ no bias in my opinion. all i can say is how can a series at the top of this list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_best-selling_books#Claims_of_at_least_100_million_copies not trump a series not even on this list? oh well, maybe someday. :D

eaarl:

jones, reading your blog makes me miss those long entries. haha. anyway..

Josefina.:

sorry i bestowed a litany upon your chatbox. guess i should’ve posted on the comments area instead. teehee. :)

Josefina.:

you might’ve anticipated that i wouldn’t NOT comment — being a HARDCORE FAN(ATIC) of something would, most possibly affect your opinion on things other than what you’re drooling over. so, let fanatics speak of what they love, and NOT throw crap about what other people love, just because it’s different. and, no, i don’t think Twilight emphasizes on crap about controlling boyfriends and detachment from humanity — obviously, the hardcore HP fanatic merely scratched the surface. Twilight’s actually about the complexities of love, the complexities THAT GO with loving someone, and the strength and potency that love holds, regardless of its victim — at least, according to me. yes, that sounded CORNY, and yes, vampires, as far as the real world can tell, do not exist. but that’s my two cents in. fathom THAT! :P

Lance:

I like the layout:D

ten:

I missed you and I will miss you too. <3

ten:

500 people you meet in hell. First time ko marinig yun ah. It sounds interesting. haha! I might buy it. yess…you sold the book to me, jones!

Josefina.:

heey, keep in mind that I’m a friend who listens to friends’ problems, too! let’s trade sides whenever you may need to. :)

Josefina.:

magfi-feeling ako: if that message is for me, thank you very much. I’m blessed to have such beautiful, loving friends. cradle to grave. :)

Ice:

computer crap XD

chii:

HAHAHA! gets kita! yung sa mass. 10am kami. nagyon lang ata kami umupo sa harap dahil walang tao! :) ))

chii:

HAHAHA. Yes besh. I-shall-not-speak-anymore was my thing last Fri :) )))

Josefina.:

friendship thing IS going on overdrive. it’s that time of year. I’m really blessed to have friends like you and the gang. :)

chii:

best, parties are fuuun. SOMETIMES. hahaha! :) )
