a whole lot of different from the usual summer routine thus my ginormous eyebags.
we were suppose to leave for Bulacan around 7 AM, and guess what time i ended up sleeping, 4:30 AM which obviously sucks. after an hour of sleep, we were on our way to beautiful Bulacan? i didn’t get the chance to see it for myself with the storm going on outside. the trip was long, bumpy, and cold.
Gaaaaahh.
when we got there, i instantly noticed the lameness of the whole place. it was all fake wood and big *ss animal statues. Hahaha. we ate our yummy lunch, then starts the karaoke. people went wild the free karaoke. Haha. it was all about tacky, yet very familiar oldie songs. the usuals are always there. Haha.
Dancing Queen. Power of Two. those sort of songs. it’s always there. no judgement. no questions. Haha.
it was all swimming after that. fun. fun. fun.
it was a bit tiring to run after little cousins, but you get used to it after a while. Hahaha. they got this giant "wave-maker" pool. naaliw ako bigla. Haha. it’s the closest thing i could get to the feel of the ocean. but after a while, i got dizzzzzy. the waves just kept coming and the cousins won’t stop running.
for once, being a swimmer finally paid off. Hahahahaha.
by the end of the day, we got tired, so we opted to chill in the giant villa instead, and just hang out. it was seriously the windiest place you could ever be in during the summer. things were just flying everywhere. Haha. paper plates, towels (yes that’s how strong the wind was. Haha.). then, a bottle of coke spilled all over the book i was reading.
it’s not even mine. Haha.
after a long day, and seriously the worst traffic jam ever, we got home.
so, yeah. Hahaha.
it wasn’t exactly my dream summer getaway, but it wasn’t that bad either.
hanging out with cousins is always good fun.
. . . . .
ITS SOMEBODY’S BIRTHDAY IN A COUPLE OF MINUTES.
(16TH TO BE EXACT)
AND THAT SOMEBODY’S FREAKIN’ EXCITED.
HA HA HA HA
i mean seriously.
Chief: What are you doing with Bailey’s child?
George: Dr. Bailey and I are in love and I’ll be heading back to Vegas with her as soon as my divorce with Dr. Torres is final.
Chief: We need to write Adel again, and she replied to my email but all she sent was a typo. She’s no better at this than I am.
George: That’s not a typo, sir. That’s a wink.
Chief: That’s a semi-colon and a close parenthesis?!
George: Turn it sideways(cellphone).
Chief: So what the hell is this thing?
George: She’s flirting, sir.
Chief: Oh. Ohh, that’s good!
Hahahahahaha. i just finished watching S4E15 of Grey’s. and let me tell you that it has, by far, one of the most shocking endings. i didn’t know what hit me until a few seconds of utter shock. i never saw it coming, and neither will you. and Sky (featuring Ingrid Michaelson) by Joshua Radin hands down is a great way to end a great episode.
now isn’t that exciting?
right, Jo? Hahahahaha.
can’t wait for the next one. weeeeee.
. . . . .
Hey, Upper East whatevers.
jonas here. and have i got the scoop for you.
(eeeeeewww. not gonna happen. Haha.)
this is the result of watching two straight episodes of Gossip Girl. i know a bunch of people are addicted to the thing, and i thought i’d give it a shot.
Gossip Girl was everything i imagined it to be, and i mean that in a bad way. i found it a bit bleeeh.it’s a world where sex-driven, teenage socialites(?) drink, smoke pot, have fancy brunches and parties rule with their trust funds and long freaky-looking scarves; a world where the measure of a mother’s love is in the amount of fashion advice she gives her daughter. now that’s just wrong. Haha. who would be interested in that? obviously not me. Haha.
right off the bat, i only liked one thing about Gossip Girl. it was Kristen Bell.
well, her voice anyway. Hahahaha.
maybe it might take a while to appreciate the show like a lot of people do.
i really don’t know. Hahahahaha.
anyway. i’m off to bulacan in a few hours. i need to get some sleep, but i wouldn’t really count on it. Hahaha.
aaarrrgghh..
insomnia, not tonight. pleeeeasssee.
you know you love me.
XO XO.
(never again. never again. )
seriously.
for the first time in weeks, i finally have something exciting to look forward to. my lola and my mom are trying to squish a few more trips before school starts. which is good. i think. Haha. i wouldn’t want to spend the few weeks of summer i have left grumpy, tired, and grumpy. but what the heck. maybe some sun would do me good.
and shopping. they’ve been doing a lot of those lately.
we basically now have a shiny, new living room. Haha.
so i’m off to Bulacan on saturday for my lola’s office trip whatever. i shouldn’t worry. i always liked my lola’s officemates. a bunch of them are close family friends, so i shouldn’t really worry that much. Haha.
them the big one-six is coming up. i’m turning 16 on the 21st. and i’m not excited as i should be. i haven’t made any plans; not with family; not with friends. nothing. even my mom hasn’t said anything. which is a bit weird because usually, by this time of the year, my mom’s all hyped about planning something or leaving hints on what she’s getting me.
i wish it’s something good like a Canon PowerShot G9 Digital Camera or a Nintendo Wii. i might even consider a PSP. whatever it is, i’m sure it’ll be good if not great. i hope. Haha.
and i’ve also been hearing talks about Subic. so yey. Haha.
but before all these trips and joys and the sun, i’ll have my GA. sure, i’ll be sad, depressed, miserable, apathetic. ( i just watched Walk On Water, Drowning on Dry Land, and Some Kind of Miracle which has to be the saddest, depressing episodes in the entire series.) so i have every right to be sad, depressed, miserable, and apathetic.
i just love Grey’s Anatomy. the best thing on tv, or in my case dvd. Haha.
seriously.
i just need something remotely fascinating to talk about.
wait for it..
wait for it…
nope. nothing’s coming.
too bad.
PS: don’t mind the title. i’m listening to 4 women go on about stuff which doesn’t interest me in the slightest bit. i just like it when they start shouting at each other.
PPS: my summer basically sucks. i hate summer.
seriously.
happy mommy’s day.
this goes out to every mother out there, particularly my mommy, who is the best mom in the whole wide world, and who i happen to love so much.
anywhoo. i woke up freakishly early. try waking up at 9AM when you slept around 3AM trying to watch past seasons of Grey’s. it was hell trying to wake up. since we had to hear the 10AM mass, i tried to sleep as early as i could. 3AM is the best that i could do. who can blame me. there’s nothing better than watching GA’s season 2 until the wee hours of the night. Haha.
me and my mom caught the 10AM mass. being Mother’s Day and all, the priest had this whole singing thing planned. Haha. it was a bit corny to my liking, but, hey, it made some of the other moms cry. my mom didn’t. she was too busy noticing how freakish-looking the roses was. the stems were longer than my arm. Haha.
my mom decided to head for a bazaar at The Fort right away. i was surprised to see that there weren’t that many people. i anticipated a lot of jostling. Haha. they had great stalls. there was this whole stall dedicated to tshirts for shows like Gossip Girl, Entourage, Heroes, and Grey’s Anatomy. i got myself a M. Grey M.D. shirt. too bad there weren’t that many guy sizes. i could have gotten the SERIOUSLY shirt. Haha. there were funny ones too; Team McDreamy. Haha.
my mom went wild. Haha. she got a bunch of stuff which was pretty heavy for clothes. Haha. before we left for, i bought me a cool looking Rubix cube. the sides are green. Haha.
we went back home to wait for my lolo and lola so we could all get some yummy dinner.
now i’m off to the airport. hooooraay.
bye, y’all.
