i’m back. Haha. after day’s out of the house, i can now properly blog about the recent happenings and out of towns which i definitely needed.
but first off, i’d like to thank everybody who remembered to greet me on my birthday. i saw Trixie, which i may add was very pretty in green, the other day and she reminded me that i never got the chance to properly thank the people who greeted me. so, there you go. Haha.
THANKS, (insert your name here). Much Love. Haha.
plus. IMY, bestfriend. it’s been too long.
plusplus, Lance, who dedicated his 80th post for me. cheers for Lance. Haha.
anywhhoo. my fun, fun birthday was spent all day with my mommy dearest. she took me shopping for new stuff which was all great. i got myself some nifty tshirts and a snazzy looking jacket. after a bajillion bargains and tawaran with the tinderas, we ate at Teriyaki Boy. yummy Jap-food.
the next very early day, my mom and i headed for wonderful Subic. Haha. the trip was great. there’s this new highway thingy they’ve renovated. they actually cut these series of hills in half to make way for the fancy highway. naaliw nga ako eh. the only thing that spoiled the trip was a bajillion tollgates. Haha. we met up with my mom’s friend’s house for some catching up. the place was beautiful. it was a bit like suburbia. even Desperate Housewives ish. Hahaha.
and some American Idol. horaay for David Cook! i never liked that Achuleta dude. Haha. his charm on teenage girls obviously didn’t rub off on me.
then we went to the Subic Yacht Club which is again beautiful. Haha. it’s really one of those high end, fancy-smancy private clubs. swimming stuff and mommy bonding time is always fun. and it was actually sunny. some needed vitamin d was at work. Haha.
after passing by Olongapo for some errands, we started to look for a hotel. we found this cozy hotel near the beach. after settling in, it was back to my mom’s friend’s place and after the grown ups left, i was left with the other kids, some of them my age even older.
and there i experienced my first encouter with some hardcore peer pressure; specifically drinking. for the people who knew me, they know that i never drank even an ounce of alcohol or any kind of liquor. and all through the night those people, who i barely even knew, tried shoving down shots of vodka down my throat. Haha. thankfully, i found refuge in two people, Lance and Jo. Hahaha. who got me through the night without a drop of alcohol entering my virgin liver. Hahahaha.
i think i sort of freaked them out with my abstinence to alcohol. me refusing to drink is what separates me from the booze driven teenagers running around lately. yuck! parang ang tanada na eh. Hahaha. coming from a nerd, this isn’t half bad. Hahaha.
the only good part of that night was the Wii part. it was freakin’ fun! the boxing and tennis games were my favorite. now i’m jealous. now i want a Wii too.
my mom dropped me off at the hotel, so she could go back to her partying. Haha. having the room all to myself was a bit scary. it was a big room with a lot of mirrors and some air conditioning working overtime. the cold was setting a very creepy atmosphere. horay for cable!
the morning after, we decided to stop for breakfast. then to Olongapo again for some shopping. then we headed for home.
out of towns are always great. but what i liked about this one is some good old mommy time. Haha. just talking about school, people, college, life, and just whatevers is really fulfilling. i am and forever will remain a mommy’s boy until the end of my days.
when we got home, there isn’t time for rest. we’ll be off to Laguna for my cousin’s birthday.
it’s a good thing they have their own house there. there isn’t any need to look for a private place to rent in Pansol. Haha. i still had my hangover from Subic, so i opted not to swim just yet. Chris, Ate Roxanne , and Ate Keigh were in the same mood as i was, so you know what that means..
MAGIC SING! Haha. it’s never a dull moment with those guys not with a mic in hand and a kajillion songs to sing. Hahaha.
after i worn myself out with all the singing, it’s off to swimming pool for me. fun. fun. fun. the usual stuff. Haha.
i always enjoyed the food there. i have my new guilty pleasure.
all smothered in CHEESE and BUTTER. TAHONG, my love! Haha.
the ride home was just plain wrong. i never noticed SLEX to be that dark and that messed up. we almost crashed into this thing in the middle of the road. thank God for my mom’s superior driving skills. if i were you, i would avoid passing through there. not after they stopped all the construction anyway.
SLEX is just plain dangerous, period.
which ends my hiatus. out of town anyway. Haha. we were back at San Juan the following day. Haha.
. . . . . .
anyway. i can’t believe i was still able to finished this looong blog. i had 300 on HBO and Lisette keeping me awake the entire time. the INSOMNIAC and NOCTURNAL are at it again. Hahaha.
. . . . . .
A SERIOUSLY BIG HAPPY 16TH BIRTHDAY to MIKH!
PARTEEEYY! I CAN’T WAIT!
AND ANOTHER SERIOUSLY BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEW J10! 6 NERDS MADE THE CUT! ITAAS ANG BANDILA! HAHA.
