I’ve got the whole weekend ahead of me.

thinking of all the things that i have planned for this weekend makes me want to pass out. no surprise here, another props meting for the class play tomorrow morning. after that, pre-S.A.D gathering with a few people. hahaha. hopefully, some frisbee and fresh air will do me some good. then on Sunday, it’s Parish Involvement once again and a whole day of studying. we have a bajillion tests lined up for this week, not including the absurd amount of activities headed our way with teachers day/valentines day, college days, and all.

just leave me here to die, to die a very slow and painful death. 

not really. hahahahaha.

anyway. today was one of the rarest occassions when we, meaning the SIIGE people, get to do absolutely nothing for the whole day. it really drove me to appriciate the fact that because of SIIGE we don;t get to spend 4 hours dancing, practicing and waving which means..

NO FIELD DEMONSTRATION FOR US! 

my most sincere sympathies go to all of my classmates who have to endure hours under the sun pretending to be Adam or Eve or something. hahahahaha. 

Lupa, laot, langit ay magkaugnay. 

Social was the usual interesting class we came to love.. this year. hahaha. me, Chi, and Romano had to do the commentary for this day. we decided to talk about something not to ambitious and doesn’t concern the whole world. we wanted to go for something local. so we chose the topic, the ban of playing canned music as an accompaniment while singing the national anthem. i think we did pretty well. good points were both made by our group and the body. hahaha. after that, we went with the usual discussion. 

Biology wasn’t that bad. we just had an activity about oxygen, veins, and the human heart. coloring was fun. besides, me and Jo decided to scream our lungs out and try to hit the highest notes of Cartel’s oh so beautiful song.

Badminton was fun as always. today was better since there were no drills, just a lot of matches. after our match, we had to evaluate our instructors. generally, we all had the same comments, expand the badminton area or atleast add airconditioning. please?! hahahaha. after a few matches, it realluy worn me out to the point that my hands were shaking because of fatigue.

first time. to add more pain to pain, i couldn’t eat anything decent for lunch since it’s Friday and i had to abstain from eating any meat. thank God didn’t pass out because i was actually at the brink of loosing it. and again, thank God for a little sugar. 

no more classes for SIIGE students for the rest of the day. yey! while the less fortunate people had to dance their way through the heat, we had to endure a not so amusing play. i couldn’t get the story and some of the cast were reading off the script behind a folder, mind you, it was a CSA folder with crayon writings on it. they didn’t even mind matching it to the setting of their play. they murdered the story. hahahaha.

but don’t mind me, that’s just my opinion. hihi. 

after that we caught up with the rest of the batches while they were still dancing. luckily, it was just a few minutes before we went up to the sanctuary that is our classroom. 

we got hang out there for a couple of hours just having random discussions about yayas a Gondssip Girl which i concluded to be a very provocative series which a lot of people in class are raving about. some people started to work on the props for the play and some just played. hahaha. 

manong came and made us go away. hahahaha

everybody started to gome by then..

Trixie and I caught up with the bus’s last trip. it was a long ride for some of us who hasn’t got a DS to play with because someone got so addicted to Boggle. hahaha. Trixie! hahaha.

then i was home. 

hectic day tomorrow. a day which needs a full energized person. 

speaking of energy..

Childhood

these past few days, there were numerous instances which forced me to reminisce about my childhood. one of these instances was my classmate bringing a huge photo album containing all class pictures from kinder/prep to the latest one. the other instance is the trip going home from school. all those noisy kids in the back, fighting and yelling at each other on who gets the best seat.

you have no idea on how much i miss those days. when you were a kid, it was just you and the whole world, free to explore the nooks and crannies of every place you go to, getting your heart’s every desire, instant TLC whenever you get into a fight with a bully. you were free from responsibilities. you were free from commitments. you were free to make mistakes and not an ounce of judgement will passed on you. you were just free.

all these realizations are starting to come out maybe because of all the stress piling up. i’m starting to freak out about the sudden descisions i have to make. and to think that these descisions can drastically change everything.

gone were the days when i wanted to grow up. i want everything to just stop. stop so that i can breath. stop so i can reassess the whole situation. stop so that i could think things through. stop and all the things will fall in it’s rightful place. stop and everything will be in perspective.

everybody keeps saying that growing up is innevitable. for some, it might come earlier but there are a few who come to this realization in the latter parts of their lives. maybe i’m one of them. then again, maybe not. hard as it may seem, i just have to grow up and shove these feelings aside.

i have rise above the occassion. 

i have to push myself more.

i have to work for change.

i have to embrace maturity.. 

 

even if it kills me.

End your week with a bang

..and i definitely did just that. hahaha

i started my Saturday earlier than usual. we had our first props meeting in school. so, i met up wit Lisette and Ice, who were basically the only people i expected to come. but to my surprise, Raj, Lance and Francis came. after we planned on what to do/buy, we went to National @ Glorrieta. while Raj, Lance, Francis were eating at Wendy’s(bastos diba?!hahahaha) the rest of us went ahead and started to look for things we needed for the play. we only got a few items since the prices were, as of now, to farfetched. hahaha.

kulang sa funds. if only more people came. ohhhhweeelll. we still had a blast.

we ate at McDonalds. we probably stayed there the longest since we talked about a bajillion things. from houses in Taal, childhood memories, to the freakiest ghost stories. after while, Francis went home. then we decided to head back to CSA. after Ice and Lisette left, me, Raj, and Lance went to Jr’s house. sobrang struggle. hahahaha. the COs who were gonna watch the dancecelebration thing were already there. me and Lance actually got left behind since my mom was kinda late. this was a good thing since they left a couple opf their tickets in the house.

 "mag do-doorbell pa ba tayo, kasi feeling ko hindi naman nila napansin na umalis tayo eh." hahahaha.

it took a while for us to get to DLSU and good thing, i wanted to sleep for a few minutes. but my mom kept me up since she was worried that i might not get inside the theatre because i was the only one wearing shorts out of all of us who were going there. (run-ion sentence much?! hahaha) after goodbyes to my mom, me and Lance met up with Jo, who was already waiting for us in front of the gate. after a bajillion years of waiting, the other guys finally arrived. they had to pick Trixie up at her place? tama ba yun, bestfriend? hahahaha.

being inside the campus was bliss. thoughts of college was running through my mind the whole day. after an elevator ride, we got to the auditorium. it was very similar to CSA’s theatre.

SUPERDANCECELEBRATION.

the show was great. i liked the different teams’ interpretation of the theme, Heroism. mad props to the CSA contestants. depicting the Air Force, Army, and the Navy was a great idea.

specifically to: Guia, Jeanine, Sach, CJ, Bea, Feb. matalino na, magaling pa sumayaw. san ka pa? hahahaha.

we decided to leave when naked guys were the ones dancing on the stage, besides we were DEAD hungry. after passing by MCDO, (yun yung bastos.) we decided to eat at KFC instead. that branch was such a loser branch. their employees were slow as hell and they didn’t have ZINGERS ready. booooooo.

going to Glorietta, i still can’t believe that that many people were able to fit inside the car. then again, it was Jr’s car. you can only pressume it’s BIG. but still..hahahaha.

the guys decided to watch a movie and they dragged me along with them.

CLOVERFIELD is SHIT.

DON’T WATCH IT.

everybody was happy when the movie was finally over. it was nauseating to the point that everybody’s head was spinning after the movie. one didn’t make it. you firgure out who. hahahahaha. we went around the mall a couple of times. we got to meet up with Jo, Guia and her family. after a while, everybody started leaving. only me, Lance, Jr, Raj, and Roman were left. every joke needed to have a hint of Cloverfield in it for it to be considered funny. alot of "i’d rather"s were said. it was already late when Raj’s ride picked us up. the Cloverfield  issue was still the main topic during the ride.

then, i was home. thanks, Raj.

 

it was a joy that i got to spend another wonderful saturday with 2B.

hopefully, i get to experience the same joy during the week.

i doubt it with RESEARCH and all.

I’m taking the leap

this day was very fulfilling, indeed. i would say that it was better than most fridays.

my groupmates and i spent the whole morning working on the Singapore collage/ venn diagram. we had a hard time coming up with anything useful to write since we were one person short. it was just frustrating to do something very important yet you have a vague idea about the specific instructions. lesson learned, when you don’t clearly understand  something, never hesitate to ask even if you would look completely naive.

seriously, it pays off.

another person missing in action was Sir Blanca. we didn’t get to have Social since he was out of the school. i was really anticipating today’s lesson but to my disapointment, we got stuck with another S.D. seatwork. boo.

Biology was quite fun. we got to do this experiment where you measure the speed of water traveling down your esophagus. hahahaha. Pat and i couldn’t stop laughing because of some reasons, which need not be mentioned. hahaha

86? sa amin nalang ni Pat yun. hahaha.

recess was crunch time. we were still finishing up the venn diagram/collage of Singapore.

BADMINTON was heaven. i had a great time, learned alot, and i got a new sexy racket. hahaha

 i can’t believe we’re still not done with the damn project. nonetheless, it turned out quite well.

just to find out during english time, we were not required to finish the whole thing! now, that’s just not right. hahahaha. english was quite enjoyable. we did this " guess my wish " sort of thing. i got Matt’s wrong. JR and Allan was quite amusing. they were trying to out do one another and see who made the most comprehensive illustration about the J10. hahahaha.

surprisingly, math was enjoyable-ish. once again, there was no teacher in sight instead our ST substituted for the both of them. Miki made the lesson easy enough to understand. too bad, some people were too damn immature about the whole situation. here’s a guy who goes all this trouble to teach you a very complicated subject, and it’s not even his job and yet you totally disregard his efforts. i can’t see why they had to act all stubborn, inconsiderate, and arrogant. that was totally uncalled for. hopefully, they could all resolve their issues and leave the rest of us out of it.

now that’s over with. hopefully. i had the most fun during dismissal time. some of us were trying something different, speaking straight english. hindi kasi nakakatawa katulad ng tagalog eh. hahahaha. when manong shooed us away, we went down to the gym to get some grub. 

2B people tried something new and played badminton for a change. it was fun. who knew nerds can be also athletic. hahahaha. after some missed shots, a few laughs, i went home.

i have 2 last statements to make.

1. i’ve decided to take a leap of faith and run for Junior Council
2. i’m excited about tomorrow’s events.
