i can now freely express my deep appreciation to not only the best subject in school, but the smartest and most patriotic teacher i’ve ever encountered. seldom are the times that i actually encounter a smart teacher. he actually has a strong grasp on the lessons he is trying to convey. and being the responsive class that we are, we seem to grasp all of it quite well.
maybe the recent events which took place(hey, even taking place) brought about this sense of patriotism in most of us, especially Sr. Blanca, hahahaha. there wasn’t a dull moment in today’s social class. i thought it would be a normal social class. but right off the bat, the discussion already blew me away. and these discussons about the country’s current state is both disturbing and englightening.
our nation today really falls flat, ands by that i mean realy realy flat, when it comes to choosing it’s leaders. you put someone, who you don’t know anything about, let alone this person’s capabilities as a leader, and here you are putting this person on the highest pedestal in the land, inducting this person as the most important person in our country, only to be angry and dissapointed, when this person’s actions and descisions doesn’t necessarily play into your favors is just sad.
run-on sentence much? i guess that those lessons didn’t pay-off.(hahahahaha)
it’s good to know that most of our teachers are actually socially active; taking part of this event which may or may not instill some change today. but the thing is that they are willing to make a stand on what they believe in.
hopefully, they get the job done cause i’m sersiously sick and tired of the things currently going on.
it pays off not to be "neutral"
moving on. or should i say moving back. i can’t resist to recount the events which took place last thurdays. it was one of the most nerve-wreaking and stressful days i’ve ever had. dissecting a frog and defending your research paper all in the same day almsot killed me, luckily i survived it and avoided the extreme need to throw up. hahahahahaha.
Good AfternoBLLEEEEEEEuuuuh. hahahahahaha.
i was exteremly ecstatic that we would finally be dissecting frogs. i’m not ecstatic about the fact that we would be taking the lives of 11 oh-so-innocent frogs. oh well, for science sake. i guess? hahahaha. wearing the gloves, the humungous glasses, and gloves really made me and most of my classmates look like extreme dorks. and again, for science sake. i guess. hahahaha.
the worst part of the whole process of dissection was "drugging" the forggy to his soon to be permanent sleep. it was heart-breaking watching it slowly doze-off. but sacrifices has to be made so we were soon poking it needles abnd sticking it to the dissecting pan. since Pat was clearly disgusted about the whole thing, me and JR were in-charge of the cutting. it was at ease with the dissecting, i should be if i ever want to pursue a career in medicine( i wish?! hahahaha). i started with the cutting. then Jr cleared up the rest of the skin for the muscle part. our efforts proved to be useless sonce our scissors hadn’t been sharpened in a bajillion years, so we asked Mrs. G for a little help. after the muscles, it was time for the organs.
weeeeeeeee. hahahahaha.
it was fun looking through all the organs. it was thrilling to see the heart and lungs still functioning even though the frog was already ripped apart. after poking around a bit and a few photo-ops, we cleaned up and we were done.
full-fledged doctors? Seattle Grace, here we come. hahahahahaha.
anyway. back to present time.
we were let out early because of the rally. badminton was alright. i had stupid mistakes on the test. hahahaha. and Enrico beat me in a singles match. i shall have my revenge. hahaha. after freshening up, i opted to go home extremely early so can i get home and sleep my ass off the whole day. and again, my efforts of R&R failed. i basically layed down in bed but didn’t sleep. so much for catching up on some shut-eye?! hahahaha.
. . .
anyway. i have the morning off for a change tomorrow. thank God. i would love to sleep up until lunch time. hahahahaha. then i’ll be heading for school to for a class meeting for the english play. horay. this week has been stressful(what’s new?) but it opened me up to some new ideas which i’m very thankful for.
HORAY for the week and HORAY for its ending. hahahahaha.
and HORAY for That’s What You Get by Paramore.
“Haven” Amongst a scenic setting, full of trees and flowers in full bloom, lies this lone tree; different from all others. Near its death, it is incapable of bearing any more than a few leaves. This photograph, fittingly entitled “Haven”, depicts the sad but factual condition of our earth today. It was once a haven of life; it has turned desolate and faded. Because of man’s sheer ignorance, it is slowly withering away into non-existence. Glimpses of hope appear in the eyes of a man who sees the errors of his ways and try to rebuild the haven which once beautifully stood.

TRUST ME.
i know. i know. i haven’t been blogging regularly for the past few days. but who can blame me. who in the right mind would have enough time to blog? seriously? well, it’s obvious that i don’t. i suck at time management. by now, you would have realized that i have tendencies of being a true-blue procrastinator. something that i’m not really proud of but i can never hide. hahahaha.
but this week in particular has been HELL.
i guess it’s been particularly crappy because we had to make up for all the time lost during the college days and the field demo practices. but it doesn’t justify the fact that teachers have been constantly giving us absurd amounts of homework and projects; not to mention all the quizzes and longtests we’re having.
it just makes me miss those days in the grandstand. it was just me in the company of good friends, enjoying yummy junk foods, and playing countless rounds of board and memory games.
no more CLUE! boooooooo.
my days are now spent running around school trying to get things done. all of us has been dumped with all this crap to work on.(this is me being incredibly cranky, tired, and stressed-out. so, don’t pay any of these thoughts any attention. all i’m saying is out of 99.1% frustration. you figure it out.)
my brain’s demise is fast approaching.
and that’s not even the half of it. next will even more painful, to say the least. we have a bajillion long tests to take, statistics "micro-research" to finish, a Filipino and an English play to prepare for, we have Math topics to present, and the day when all hell breaks loose is drawing near..
of course i’m talking about RESEARCH f*cking DEFENSE.
i’m will either die, pass out, go insane, before Thursday, the infamous hell day, comes.
. . .
anyway, after my rant about everything there is to rant about i will now stop. i’ll try anyway. hahahaha.
i had a relatively calm day. some teachers were out and about somewhere else so we got some periods off. Social is always a joy. Sir. Blanca is not only funny but he’s one of the smartest teachers i’ve ever met. he goes on about a Asian History and political issues like no other.
Bio went by pretty fast. we got our Long Test back. it was higher than i expected it to be but not with the same caliber with the other’s. some of them actually got a perfect score. we finished with the lesson with a lot of time remaining, so we decided to try to finish the rest of Osmosis Jones. we didn’t finish it but we unfortunately got into a gross scene.
after recess, everything went by smoothly. badminton is always a blast. english was enjoyable enough. and math was spent in front of a screen filled with math equations i completely don’t understand. hahaha.
dismissal was fun. besides the fact that we had to wait for an hour for our orders to arrive and them mixing up our drinks(i don’t enjoy Coke Light like everybody else.), i had a pretty good time with Jo, Keziah, Enrico, and Carlos munching on our McChickens and fries and watching the Open Encampment. i’m scared for life about COCC and even ACP but i’m considering joining during the summer before 4th year. i’m taking a chance of becoming a Medic. from the what i’ve seen, it looks fun. hahahaha.
after everybody left, i got to spend time with my bus mates. they’re always fun to goof-off with.
and now i have to prepare and sleep for tomorrow. i realized my week’s not over yet. tomorrow i’ll have an early start for the English play practice. and on Sunday, 2 more hours of Parish. argh. looking forward to spending time with 2B and a chance to work at my photos. YAY!
Thank God It’s the Weekends?
